Hi everyone, I just traded in my 08 Avenger for an 08 Liberty spot with skyslider, tow package, and skid plates. I do a lot of hiking and backpacking and volunteer work with the forest service in my spare time. I don't really plan on doing too much intense off roading, unless the forest service roads get really bad. I'm looking to put a better muffler on, I was thinking either a Magnaflow or an Edelbrock, and upgrading from the stock tires (with 48k miles they're almost bald anyway). Down the road I'd like to do a 2 inch lift and bedline the fenders and bumpers renegade style

Hi from Down Under. My wife drives an 09 kk limited, and I have a lifted KJ.
I recently put a set of General Grabbers A/T2's in 255/55/18 on her stock 18's, and with no lift it made her KK suprisingly capable. We just did a camping trip to Arnhem Land, and her KK handled the 500k's of dirt tracks, endless hours of corrugations, and lots of river/creek crossing with ease. These tyres handled the soft sand pretty well too.

so yeah, get out and have some fun
Cheers.

I was looking at either the AT 2's or the BFG's. I'm going to see if I can get either one of those for cheap on base. Anything has to be better than these stock tires.

Welcome! I would LOVE to get my stuff bedlined too, but I got yelled at for spending too much money :banghead: Just as a word from someone who JUST got AT tires, I went over to sam's club to price out the new BFG Rugged Terrains, and took their price over to discount tire and they gave me the tires, warranty, install, and TPMS rebuild for 750 altogether (245/70/17). So just make sure you shop around!

Thanks for the advice jdizzle. I'll have to check out discount tire too. I bought tire there back in Rhode Island and got a pretty great deal.

Do you mind if I ask how much your OME lift cost?

That's great. You bought them from ARB, right?
