Well long story short we found just what we needed in a vehicle. A Jeep first off to replace our totalled 99 TJ Sahara for my girl. And found a 2005 Liberty Limited CRD! Im a diesel nut with my trucks and tractors. She is a fan but never made ends meet and were not car people! Sorry im excited but just got home tonight with it. Its all black and loaded. I have many plans but need to be patient and take care of important stuff first. This is our 2nd jeep in driveway with my 97 TJ which has grown above and beyond, however not the point of being here. Anyway this is her new DD as well as our rig to go places instead of my darn truck for once so she gets a little rest! CRD has 89K miles on it. I'll get the followign done and obviously start prepping for Timing belt at 100K.

so did a lot of reading and know right off bat unplug MAF. I do a lot of mechanical work on all my own stuff so the main reason I loved this rig is I can work on it. Being I know nothing of history i'll be doing a oil change with Rotella T as I use in my truck and WIX Filter. Fuel filter will get done as well as clean MAF (for when it goes in). I will be ordering my ECO tune from GDE first thing in morning. Putting a CCV re-route in and do more reading on this PROVENT setup. But should be good with the EGR off and the other little mods/service.

Next is the WANTS: Plan right off with OME springs and shocks. Someone want to suggest what spring rate they basically say light, medium or heavy loads. What would it be just all stock weight and at most 4 people and gear. Light or go Medium at least. Along with lift i'll go 31x10.5x15 BFG All Terrains on Crager Soft 8's 15x7 4.00 B/S so they fit. Want that clean looking stock look yet lifted and offroad worthy. I'll be bedlining anything that is chrome on it right now. Now for exhaust and intake. I see not many make proof a big intake is needed so i'll leave be and make sure filter is clean or new. As for exhaust would you say same outcome of just cutting out muffler so its straight from cat-back? Or just go ahead and get the MBRP 2.5" exhaust and i'll make a piece to delete the muffler. I want it straigt piped from turbo back in furture but since its the girls DD i'll leave the CAT an keep drone out of cab as some noticed.

Otherwise sorry a book to read! Im excited and I am so happy this jeep exists. Wish I could have put this money into a 4BT to get in my TJ but soon enough it will be done!

Located in Campbell Hall NY just between Newburgh and Middletown
