Joined today, bought our 2005 Liberty CRD yesterday. I checked here last week, (lurking!), to get clues to help me with our purchase, F37, LBJ, engine issues..., so you have been great even before I joined.

Long may you wave!

Be sure to check out the LOST PNW/BC section too. It's been kind of dead but I'm trying to set up some meet and greets and trail runs. viewforum.php?f=31

Oh, right on, except... this is the wife-mobile, to defend against the inevitable snow phenomenon here in Western WA. She's contemplating placing Hello-Kitty stuff in the vehicle since it's white, (like Hello Kitty, {may the LORD have mercy on our souls}). Bought it to give the wife peace in the snow.

Probably not four-wheeling with this mini-beast.

Yet...

Haaa haaaaaahaaaa.

Ahh, I understand that. Not the Hello Kitty, but the wife-mobile. My ex had a car that I wasn't allowed to touch. Do your wheel your Grand?

Also, do you get much snow in PT? I'm from upstate New York and this is my second winter here. It still amazes me the havoc that is caused by just a couple inches.

The Grand is a 4x2, the former family truckster. Not much of a trail beast. The earlier Jeeps were, though.

As for the snow, it's a toss of the coin where the most snow will fall. What is certain, however, is that WA DOT will be unable to deal with it in a manner we, (my wife and I grew up in Northern Illinois area), are used to. No salt, only sand to melt the inevitable ice. There's a reason snow states use salt, it works.

As for the driving skills... :banghead:

I completely understand. The driving skills are lacking in the rain too, you'd think they have enough practice with that
