Pittsburgh newbie to Jeepin' - my last 4x4 experience was in my '79 Bronco, 20 years ago, down in the mounatins of NC! I sold that while back in college, and have been stuck in cars ever since... until a month ago! 8)

'07, and clean as a pin (was owned previously by a florist  who liked to travel to NC in it... a LOT - 67k miles right now), and Supperchipped, and getting a CAI installed TOmorrow.

I've just done MOST of the 60k recommended maintenance on it. With full-time 4x4, transmission, diffs, and transfer case have all been flushed. Plugs and PCV valve are the last step to do in that process, and I already have them sitting in the console waiting to go.

Sadly, living near downtown, I'm certain the extent of my Jeepin' for the next few months will be, playing ARCTIC Commander in it, when the snow flies. I actually walk to work each day, so I rarely hit 7k miles in a year on my vehicles. My bosy and I want to set off for some wheelin' and campin' in the Alleghenies starting next spring, so I'll keep you posted on that!

Seeing as how I've ALREADY emptied every pocket to get 'er to this point  , here's hopin' she holds together long enough to get 'er out on some wide open trails!

Welcome to LOST!!
Was just over your way not long ago, have an Ex that lives there so....
But looks great
I'd forget the CAI though, most are worthless no matter what the claims are. Good airfilter like ones from Amsoil and be done with that part.
JeepinByAl makes some nice lift kits for them though  :ROTFL:

I went with an aFe unit, since it didn't require removing the entire front end. Then I promptly dropped a nut down between the a/c condenser and radiator... so to find it, we had to take the front end off. :furious:

Kodak Easyshare software then promptly ate all my pictures :banghead: , so I'll take some more of the fnished product tomorrow. ANY horsepower is GOOD horsepower, when you're trying to move 5,119lbs with a 287 V-8. WHATEVER it adds, I'll take it!
