As the subject line states: Greetings from the fair city of Tacoma. I have a write-up with pictures of my lift going up Tomorrow. I pre-ordered my CRD new and have reasonably enjoyed it so far. Save for the stock tires, which were easily the worst so-called four wheel drive tire ever installed on a street legal vehicle. I stopped counting at 12 flats. Save for the transmission. Save for the EGR. I purchased this Jeep to do actual off-road work, to get me to the rivers for salmon and steelhead, for rafting, corporate zombie apocalypse, and the like. With the lift and tires I think the Jeep will be even more capable. It better be. That's a lot of money for just the lift components alone. I have used the LOST board for years now and have gleaned a tremendous amount of great information; so I am not "new" to the board, however, this is my first post. Maybe now I can give back some of the information I have gathered as well. I will be doing real-world testing of the OME components and the cooper tires. Off-road, towing, road trips, and more. No mall parking lot testing. Thanks and more to follow. |
