Well, bought my frist Jeep about 3 months ago. It was a sweet 2001 cherokee limited. Great condition, and I fell in love with that xj. Then, on the way home from watching a football game, a lady did a 180 and took my jeep out I then just got a 2005 KJ Renegade in light Khaki, with leather and the light bar. had it less than a week, and am already in love with it as well!! I will admit, that a part of me didn't want to like it as much as the XJ, but the little thing has already won me over. I have put about 800 miles on it already, and have to admit that it was an upgrade.

The XJ's and KJ's definitely have different personalities.
The KJ, rides much nicer.
If you have over 30k miles on it, then you might want to upgrade the springs and shocks to anything but OEM. It will also give you a little bit of lift, but the KJ definitely deserves it, lol.

Only advice I have for you is read, read and read, there is soo much knowledge on this site its crazy.

Im over 100k miles, but everything works well. Springs still seem to setup as high as they should ,but i have noticed that over bumps the suspension is a bit squeaky. It is the light khaki metallic and i love it so far. Will post some pics once i take some good ones.

Spray silicone on the sway bar bushings that should take care or the suspension noise.
