Well to start off this New Year, I just traded in my 177K Special Edition 04 WJ w/ ARB, MM Winch, OME coils, ProComp Alloys, PIAAs, rock-rails and skids, Magnaflow, Command-TracII, 4.0 for a 2012 KK ArticEdition... :banghead: Keeping things simple this time; it's ingrained in my head to be a daily driver, that is also capable for snowboard trips and dirtroad fishing treks. My future mods are skids and tow hooks first, then a 2" coil lift and some 245/75/16 Silent Armor ATs down the road... :juggle: Yes, my old Jeep was dialed in a bit more for moderate wheeling but in reality I was just another pavement princess... I am proud to buy American in the bigger picture of things, just hope the KKs are as solid like my previous XJ, KJ, WJ; they were all reliable high mileaged vehicles... :2cents: Test drove the Compass, engine noise amplified more and felt a bit small for my surfboards in the back but good mpg; also the Grand Cherokee without any options was 5K more and recalled 3.6 engines made the Liberty a great choice for my family. Happy New Year, good to meet you all.

I have a couple offroad pics, just got to load them on the PC first. Well so far I have noticed the KK has stiffer steering, I must have been spoiled by the AWD before. Miss the sun roof, the last three had them. 60/ 40 seat is a little narrower, the WJ fitted surfboards on the 40 side while the 60 side seat up. I like that it feels more like a wrangler with a hard top than the other three did before. Navigation and bluetooth is a bonus and will keep my wife from getting lost. Came with tow hooks and a fuel tank skid; the rest of the armor will come later before the trails...

techman02, yours is a nice color and in great condition... Miss my WJ a bit but this Yeti theme, gortex seats, and extra gadgets is growing more on me everyday... Now to just get my money back from Uncle Sam and mod out my new one a bit more, I need to get out on the trails in the Sierra Mountains - a must this time... My KK is made in Ohio, Woot!

I have 600 miles on my 2012 Arctic, got the winter chill color too. I have added a grill guard and side steps, roof racks and tinted the front windows darker, I'm waiting on some fogs. I'm really liking how it looks. Good luck with it!
