Well after 20yrs of driving Land Rovers i've taken the plunge and bought a 2002 CRD KJ. First thought, what a fantastic little truck so underated over here, then i loaded all my gear into it and realised theres not a lot of room. storage draws me thinks along with new tyres, some underbody protection, snorkel maybe, and sort out the tow bar that sticks out the back 3ft! Can anyone say departure angle! don't get me wrong i'm gonna love this truck, only question, what to do with all my Land Rover gear? can i trade in hats, coats and umberellas for stuff with jeep on it?

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum!!!

I am in the UK too. You will find a lot of info on here, specially for CRD but more for the 2.8 than the 2.5.

If you need some help in the UK, have a look at Jeep Club UK http://www.jeepclub.co.uk/.

Hi,

I think there is one coming up in March. I know I would like to go to Salisbury plains, I have already missed 2 outings.

See you there then.
