HI You All, I'm a new Member today, I have a 2005 Liberty sport CRD, bought it New from the stealership, love it when it runs like it should, hate when it doesn't run. Right now I have two fault codes, #0261-0267 (#1 & #3 injector fault to ground), this started with number #1 injector then #3 came up soon after that. Had a mouse bed under the engine cover just before this, but doesn't "Look" like any damage was done to my harness anywhere. To the short and skinny here, is more likely than not that I have two bad injectors? or is the ECM going bad on this side of things? How much does it cost for injectors, individually or a whole set of four ( better to have a full matched flow set ). I have already learned a lot from this website forums, lots of good stuff. Glad to be a member and I will eventually pay for the lifetime membership. David, Sr.

about 40 miles east of Roseburg, Oregon. Right now I have a broken 2005 Liberty CRD, #1 & #3 injectors, FC 261 & 267, I think they just went bad, it started as a miss and no power, then went a way, hit the throttle sometimes here a rattle at high RPM, then its all the time now. It starts fine, but even at idle it's not firing on all cylinders like it should. Low side ground fault, I do not have tools, etc. to check this out like it should be done, but will check OHM reading across terminals on the injector heads, Do you need any special tools to pull the injectors out and replace them?? It has 124000miles, haven't done timing belt yet. |
