Hello all.
I just picked up a Dark Khaki 2005 Liberty Limited CRD this past Friday. This is my first Jeep as well as diesel. So far I'm loving this thing! I was a little hesitant on purchasing the CRD, but I stumbled across this site while doing pre-purchase research and it gave me the confidence to go ahead with the purchase. Tons of useful information on here!

Garrett

Hi Garrett, welcome to the forum! :JEEPIN: If you haven't found it already, Sir Sam's Noob Guide is a must read for new CRD owners. It's a sticky near the top of the "CRD - Love that Torque!" section.

I've already read the sticky. Thanks for the heads-up though.

Welcome and enjoy the crd I know I do. It is one of those vehicles that if you treat it nicely it will treat you nicely.

Thanks. I haven't even had it a week and I'm already in love. ORM done, next is the CCV mod. I don't want this little turbo ingesting and trying to compress oil. I've also cleaned the MAP sensor. It wasn't terribly dirty but it's since stopped smoking on acceleration.

Welcome :JEEPIN: Its always nice to have another crd owner here. I was much like you about 3 years ago. I found this place looking into a CRD and had only met one guy, a friend of a friend that had one. I was hesitant but once I drove one was hooked. I am still loving it same as I hope you will yours after a few years.

Dark Khaki is a nice color too
