help!! how do i get the c-clips out of my rear diff on my 2007 jeep liberty so the axle will slide out

You have to take off the rear differential cover. So you can get to the clips.
Then push the axle in a bit towards the center of the differential, and the clips should just slide right out. Then with the clips removed, slide the axle out.
