Post subject:  Hi from Colorado

We just bought 2006 Liberty CRD. Cool car, but it came with issues. Seems passenger side CAC tube is oily, will need to replace.
we have a slow speed decel rhythmic whirling rear diff noise-dealer did replace rear difff bearings- goodwill fix. We have a chirpy, clatter during light acceleration between 21-2800 rpm, then a small kick in the pants acceleration oncenoise stops. Havent taken it to independent shop yet, dont trust jeep dealer
Jeep has 78000 miles with a clean carfax, interior/exterior veryclean.
Dealer didchange oil with 0-40. We used mobil delvac 15-40 in our other diesels. Whats anyones oil preference- Amsoil.????????
THANKS We hope to enjoy this little rocket for many years, and even tow it four wheels down behind RV

Welcome to the LOST community! There are a lot of CRD owners on here who can help. Check out the CRD-Love that Torque! section and be sure to post CRD-specific questions there for the best answers. Also, be sure to read the sticky called Sir Sam's Noob Guide, which contains important info for new CRD owners. Good luck! :JEEPIN:

Howdy Colorado - Welcome to LOST

try the Noob guide - lots of good information (and Sir Sam is down in the Springs)

and as to oily CAC tubes -'that's not a bug -it's a feature' they designed it that way.
but it can be corrected.
