My first Jeep

Ive always wanted a Jeep of my own. I've driven them for work (USFS) and rented one last year at the grand canyon.
I'm picking up a 06' Liberty CRD tomorrow. I'm very excited! My brother has a 05' CRD so it'll be a fun family thing for us.
Not only is this my first Jeep, but I'm a noob to forums as well.
Any tips for my CRD and for this forum are welcome! :SOMBRERO:

Welcome to LOST! What kinds of Jeeps are the forest service running now? When I got to know the DNR/USFS in West Virginia they were still stringing some high mileage XJ's with the Up Country package along. Those things were awesome, and they liked them better than the newer Grands or the Dodge Dakotas. :JEEPIN:

LOST has a great CRD section. Scroll down on the main page to the "CRD-Love that Torque" section and introduce yourself there. Also, be sure to read Sam's Noob Guide to CRD's. All sorts of good maintenance info there. Congrats on your first jeep! I'm on my second-- my first was a 2000 XJ :dead:

The USFS Jeep I drove was an XJ. That was about 5 years ago as well.
I'm with a private company now but when I had the opportunity while working near the Grand Canyon I rented a JK. Both were great.
I picked up my CRD today and am very excited.
I read the noob guide and browsed the "CRD love that torque" section as well. Looks like there is some really good advice and tips for me!
I'll definetely be checking it out again this weekend when I have some time to get under the hood. :goink:
