Well, figured I'd introduce myself here while I'm waiting for dinner to finish... yeah, it's past midnight, but I just got raped by a finance exam.
Anyway... I'm also bummed because I tracked down the owner of a good looking CRD but right before I was going to go put some cash down on it, he gave me the wave-off and said to find one that didn't have some of the looming problems he knew about. So while I don't have a jeep, I do have faith in the community
That said, I'm now back in the market to find a decent CRD. Looking for something at or under 100K miles with some of the basics like the GDE, EHM/CCV, and generally loved since the beginning. Would REALLY love for the PO to have all the maintenance records, but that may be pushing it (apparently I'm in the minority when it comes to documenting everything on my cars).
I'm in Denver (Cap Hill area) and would love to meet some of the CRD owners... would even be willing to tinker with you on your ride if you ever need a set of mechanically inclined hands. I used to own an '86 Porsche 944Turbo, and I've done just about everything known to man on and under that car (as well as for a GMC Jimmy and Toyota Camry I used to own). However since I don't currently have a car, if you're not within biking distance of downtown Denver, you'd have to provide a ride.
