Just found a 2005 for a good price. It joins a family of diesels, F-350 PS dually and a TDI Jetta.

the CRD has similarities and differences to your other diesels - some are significant

and on an 05 - check mileage and has the timing belt been changed - it's at 100K and can be an expensive maintenance and many people decide to sell so that they don't have to deal with it.

Thanks for the welcome. It has 122600 miles. The Timing Belt has been done, all new injectors and glow plugs. OME HD springs and shocks, 245-75-16 tires. I read the Noob thread and started on the recommended maint. MAP was a mess, very similar too the photos in the thread. Looking forward to learning all I can.
