:D as title really, just popping in to introduce myself:

Female (wrong side of 55) Based in the UK not far from London, proud owner of a 2005 Jeep Cherokee 2.8CRD - apparently known as a Jeep Liberty elsewhere. Had the jeep for two years and use it to tow a horse trailer (and horse), for which it is absolutely brilliant.

So far all the issues have been major. Bought it with only 64k on the clock (79k now) but so far have replaced the timing belt (recommended of course) had the automatic transmission rebuilt following a catastrophic breakdown (very expensive) and recently had the serpentine belt replaced along with the automatic belt tensioner (had to get the parts from the Stealership at an extortionate price :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

Hopefully it will all run smoothly now.

There will be differences from the US versions - but there are a few folks from Oz and UK to straighten out the details.
