Hey Lost Jeeps! My name is Luke from San Jose, CA. I recently purchased a 2006 Liberty CRD with some cool goodies on it. I hope to deck it out for some camping and dirt biking trips. It has a tuner, intake, exhaust and gets over 30 mpg on my 200 mile a day commute!

Pretty cool!

Here is how I purchased the Liberty. It came with a brand new turbo and had 80k miles on it. Ignore the license plate. I will have a new one soon!

That's a sharp looking CRD. Congrats on your purchase!

With that relatively low milage, turbo failure is relatively rare...any details on what the backstory is?

Dan

Thanks guys.
Dan, no idea but the shaft on the old turbo broke and sent the turbine wheel sailing down the exhaust pipe. Runs great now.

Thanks. It is an expensive but nice bumper.

To answer the previous post about the smog in California. It isn't as bad for Diesel cars and trucks. They only do a visual inspection.
