Hi everyone,
I'm a West Coast native transplanted to the midwest for college for almost 4 years now. I miss my mountains and oceans but have been thouroughly loving the hunting and fishing opportunities there are out here.
I have a 98 Jetta that's gotten me everywhere I want to go (almost that is). She's been through more states than I can remember, survived multiple road trips and of course my modest attempts at some dirt roads and 2 tracks out in eastern Oregon. At 340,000 miles she's done great! I've been a vw person for years but my ol' jetta just can't get me to where I want to go (not for a lack of trying
) in my outdoor adventures. So I've been taking a good hard look at the liberty diesel for my next daily driver/ weekend fun rig (one that's actually able to get more off-road). I've already found some wonderful information on the forum so far about the advantages and common problems the 05/06 CRD Liberty face and I'm really looking forward to learning more about them and hopefully owning one soon. Any help or suggestions are well welcomed. Cheers
