Joined to learn all about the CRD's cause I believe it is the right vehicle for me. I live in Florida and drive an hour each way to the airport. Then on weekends I need to tow my boat. So, I wanted a torquey, good fuel mileage 4WD vehicle!

I've been a Automotive technician for over 22 years. I'm a master Chy/Jeep/Eagle tech and currently an instructor.

I've read most of the mods I should do, still looking for things I should look at when buying a used CRD.

If you find one, give a Jeep dealership the vin # and see what has been done through the dealerships. Mine had CV joints, a torque converter and the factory reprogram/de-tune...
