Post subject:  The new guy from upstate NY

Hey all. Signed up earlier this week and finally getting a around to introduce myself. My name is Dan and my girlfriend just picked up a 02 liberty 3.7 not to long ago.

She didn't pay much for it as it needed some work. Come to find out cylinder 6 was gone with 0 compression and 2 with 50. So after some searching we were going to go with a rebuilt engine..until we came across a steal of a deal on the refurbished heads.
Ordered the rebuild kit from rockauto today and hoping tonhsbe it all back together in a couple weeks.

Hoping that she likes it as she has already been seeing images of what she wants to do with it..And I'm excited to help.

On to what I do. I'm a member of 355nation. I own a Colorado and I began making custom reflectors for our headlights last year . From their i have done the gauge needles and also replicated a set of custom knobs that were made for our trucks that the member stopped producing do to cost. I am working on outside handles and a few other projects to come. I am always looking and hope to new ideas.
Since her jeep has been down. I have modified those knobs to fit the liberty by adding a slacer to the base.

Not sure how many of you are on the Facebook page..but that is me posting as " DK Moulds" . here is what the knobs look like for the liberty..

I am sending her HVAC unit down to the guy who does my LEDs. To see about doing that...as with a translucent effect with LEDs gives this effect

I emailed someone about vendorship but have had no response . so if someone could point me in the right direction as this is something I enjoy doing and having a jeep I'm able to test things on only makes it better.

Thanks
Dan
