Hi guys i just manage to find lost jeeps … i followed this since i got my kj last year , had all the problems with it but thanks to you i was able to correct all the issues . work i did so far .. 100 mile id parts tb wp kit .16 rockers .. cam seals head gasket , head was off to inspect cil #2 oem gp failure ,the thank god the piston and liners look good only minor dents top of piston #2 do to gp tip drop in . also gde eco tune ,blow by tube vent outside , 2nd gen ff update ,cummins in tank lift pump 7v e-tecno and controller ,800cca interstate batt ,femco m18x1.5 oil drain plug ,4x4 cable end plastic bushing , rear u joint ,complete brake job e,brake nightmare etc ,front weel bearings. tranny . t,case diffs all full synt oil ,2nd oil change rotella 6 also had to replace 2 injectors long story inj #1 was sticking rattling smoking etc all do to air in fuel system !! and the best update GDE tune was done also . thing to do in future muffler and euro tc update . I've been trying to diagnose cold start issue so far no luck , no codes , plug in block heater starts ok if parked over night not plugged it starts after 5-10 sec, runs ok no smoke , if i shut it off after was running 1 min will start right up ok just 1-2 sec crank time , its (not glow plug issue) , i won't change any parts but suspect prop valve??? i drive it every day runs good and lots of power only long cold crank issue left to diagnose thanks guys for reading, english is my second language |
