Hello all. New Liberty owner here. Bought a 2002 Sport 4x4 from my Son-in-law. He bought it new and the engine went this year with 189k miles. I bought it and put in an engine and it's running now. It came with the offroad package I believe, and he installed an OME lift, and 245/75/16 Cooper STT tires.

Coopers have been good so far, a little rumbly on the road but I had a set of these on my dodge ram 2500 and liked them(better than the now toyo mt) so I'm happy with them. This is not intended as a highway vehicle so not a big deal.

Welcome!
Was your son in law a member here?
That's a good and proper lift.

Don't know if he was a member. He grew up in Vegas and bought it new down there and used it pretty good in his youth. He said he wanted to break what would break while there was warranty.

Still running good, had a few other things to fix after the engine; window regulator, AC(new pump etc), JBA upper control arms(upper BJ's were really toast), radiator. Still no power mirrors, seems like it's the switch and just haven't got to it yet. Yep there were a few things wrong with it.

That's awesome it has JBA arms. Those are worth every penny.
