Post subject:  ECU, ERG delete

Hi, I've just joined and would like to say this is a fantastic sight for Jeep enthusiasts. I've just began to modify my Jeep I'm starting with provent 200 for crankshaft gases, my question is what's the best flash drive for ECU to remap a European 2005 Jeep Cherokee/Liberty KJ 2.8 CRD as I'm doing erg delete too. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated, Thank you for your help.

Welcome, lots of good information and great people on this forum! Got questions, just ask, some will try and help you.

fyi: doing an EGR delete electronically will not totally eliminate EGR. The only 100% way to guarantee no EGR leak by is to totally remove the EGR system or at least install a blank off plate in the exhaust feed tube to the EGR valve.
Weeks (Sasquatchparts.com) sales a great elbow kit which allows the total removal of all EGR componets.

Most on here use a laptop and a MPPS cable for re-flashing.
MPPS cable and software are available on the web for purchase. :google:

See this thread for information on DIY flash; read and study it well before attempting!!
