Here's another spot that places the radio up front but out of the way.

Now, I'm just waiting for my antenna and bracket to get here so I can finish off the installation.

I've got the Cobra 75. The stereo is different now and there's a lot of dust, aside from that, it looks like this:

The ground is a hole that's already there behind the knee panel, fuse is an add-a-circuit, box is in top of the sub under the driver's seat. I don't cope well with wires and stuff blocking the mirror or swinging in front of me, so this works out really well for me.

I put my Cobra 75WX-ST Hide-a-Way Unit under the center cd holder ( armrest compartment). Pull out the CD holder & screwed to the rear heat duct. Then ran the electrical to the Power Window fuse .From the hide away unit- hand held unit lead has just enough length to come out the E Brake opening...

Anything you stick to the windshield is going to be one more reason to justify pulling you over, unfortunately.

My CB is in my cupholder. The little box is hidden in the (tight) space between the floor console and the center console bezels. I drilled an opening on the side of the floor console to mount PL-259 jack to. Cable runs mostly under the carpet, coming out the back and going to the spare-tire CB antenna mount.

The Ram mount looks good but I would still put it slightly lower so that some padding could be added on the IP. It will shake like hell when you're doing some offroad stuff.
