That looks like the same idea as the PIE unit that I just bought. It plugs into the CD changer port on the back of the stock CD player making it a "hard" connection. The PIE was $130; shoulda bought this one for $65

Anyone else have an opinon on this?

Does it really control the iPod with the factory radio? The thing says you can put the iPod in the glove box and use your factory radio to control the iPod. Is this really possible?

According to the link above, It will control the playlists, But will not display the song title, Just tracks and time.

Also...

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH THE 6 DISK IN DASH!

I was getting excited, But those of us with the 6 disk are screwed.

I needed something quick to drive from Detroit to Lexington tomorrow. I went to Radio Shack and bought a $20 cassette tape adapter. It sounds great actually.

I have one of those old fashioned 2002 Libertys with CD / tape / CD changer radio.

I say it is $20 well spent. Now all I need is something to charge. Those are a dime a dozen though.

I'm looking for one of this or similar and just noticed the price has gone up, they now run around $75 + Shipping
Anyone else wanna share on how they have hardwired their iPod? I don't really like the cigarette adapter one.
