what are the thoughts on this?
http://www.mopar-accessories.com/en-US/82206957/partinfo.aspx?DivisionId=1&Year=2007&VehicleId=24&CategoryId=1001&GroupId=2014&SubGroupId=3051&pc=17857

obviously a lot smaller and probably way less power. but very convenient space solution.

Those were the ones I was refering to in my last post:

Quote:
I looked into the Jeep brand underseat sub boxes but felt that they would be too weak (80 watts) and with only 6.5" driver, their frequency range would be limited.

They only have 6.5" drivers which have very limited frequency range and are also only 80 watts. IMHO, too little effect for $200+ apiece.

I definitely agree with you regarding the convenience of having subwoofer enclosures beneath the front seats...that's why I made my own. I'll take some pics and hopefully post them this weekend.

I actually have the MOPAR sub in my KJ. It packs a decent punch for such a small device. Takes up no cargo room and you can squeeze it under the passanger seat so that you have room under the drivers seat for extra crap.

Small - yes

Powerfull - no

Sound good with stock stereo - Yes

Rattle Windows - No

Yes. the box is ment to be installed under the drivers seat to begin with.

I was going to run two of them, but backed out of the thought after a while.
