Has anyone replaced the OEM radio/cd unit in the '08 Liberty? Wanting to upgrade the unit. Don't want to replace any speakers, just the unit. Any suggestions for something better than the OEM?????

i recently purchased a clarion nx509 and installed it and just one 12" sub in my 08 Liberty. you absolutely need a mounting kit and wiring harness for convenience. one thing i noticed was that there wasnt a acc 12v on the harness??? idk where the factory one gets it but the harness i got came with an extra bit of wire that i just tapped into the cig lighter for the acc power. works like a charm. when the faceplate drops to install a dvd or sd card it slightly rubs on the dash trim but its fine really. thats about all i got. good luck.
