I like that spot too for the smaller less tuning units, I'd get ticked with mine in that loc, too much tuning required for sideband to reach under my elbow there but if i had a 19 or something I'd totally go with that

All wires were hidden and the K40 antenna is mounted on the frame above the tailgate with a door jamb mount.
