so i have a 2005 liberty renegade with now a pretty shot electrical system. a couple months ago i threw my keys at the the ground breaking the electronics in the original key i had for my jeep and since then i have been manually locking and unlocking my car. i also have a viper remote start system installed that the remote doesnt allways like to stay linked to the the system in the car. shortly after this incident i was driving my car and all my dash lights started lighting up include check engine and airbag lights and my gas and speedo stoped working on my dash and windows and locks were left not working for a good 45 mins. took me 5 times starting add turning off my engine the second time this incident happened and has not happened since but since then my little red light on the dash is allways turned on when the car is on and running and even with a spare key my electronic locks dont work and only some time the electric locks work on the doors. thanks for any help brian

sounds like you need an ECM

or some wiring was damaged install/post install with the viper system

lol that sucks if i need a new ecm becuase i need to get my f**King trans fixed again. my 2005 liberty renegade is messing up left and right

also just remembered my powered side view mirrors arn't working either, on that note im checking out craigslist for a new whip
