I really want to replace the speakers but eveything I've heard says I should do the deck first. I think I'll go with an Alpine but it won't cover the entire section that the stock unit does. I know Crutchfield will provide a type of cover but I was wondering if someone else did it and what it looks like with just a single din (is that what they're called?) deck. Thanks.

Not sure what you mean...are you looking for fabricated covers?

That cover (a.k.a. Chrysler/Dodge Kit 1998-Up, Chassis Size E) will be necessary to 'fill in the void' around your new deck since your stock HU isn't shaped like a typical deck. Check out this link:

You should order from Crutchfield. They'll give you this cover, a wiring harness, antenna adapter, and detailed pics/instructions for free...they may ship free on HU's, too.

The dash fit kit looks great, check out my cardomain link for photos

I second the ordering from crutchfield. They have good deals on alpine decks, and if it's your first order, you can get $20 off $200 (pm me for the coupon code thing)
