You would have to get one of these to mount a standard CB antenna (3/8-24 threading):CB antenna stud mount It will fit in the mount hole on this mount. You would also be able to mount any other antenna that comes with the 3/8-24 threading - CB, Ham/shortwave, scanner, etc. If the antenna doesn't come with a specific base from the manufacturer, then 3/8-24 is the standard most use. Only other thing you would need to do is to ground this mount. I know the roof rails are not themselves grounded, but there is another thread on the site about doing it and it shouldn't be that difficult.
