I saw that a company makes CB antenna mounts for the ARB bull bar part # 3500090 at http://www.4by4connection.com/cbaccessories.html My question is, has anyone mounted their CB antenna to their bumper and had good results with signal strength? Originally, I was thinking about mounting it where the factory antenna is, but the mount wouldn't be as strong and I'd have to use the factory antenna cable which probably isn't well suited to CB. So my options are the front or back of the Jeep. Since I have a bull bar I figured the front would be the most sturdy and least obstructed place to mount it. What do you guys think?

I also thought about mounting my antenna on one of the extra light taps on my bullbar but decided not to from the fear of the antenna whipping back and hitting the windshield or hood(I like my paint job). It's a good idea(just not for me) and at least you know were the front bumber sticks out to if anything.

I have mine mounted on the front corner of my jeep. Just over the weekend on a run, I had to turn down the gain of my radio because I was picking up a lot of chatter that none of the other guys could hear (as in, it was so sensitive, I was picking up other conversations from far far away). As one of the other trucks was going south, we did a range check, and I could hear him at something like 8 miles away.

If you are not going to add lights to the top of the hoop. Just use a stud mount thru one of the light tabs. There part number is K-4A. This is the same as what you helped me mount to the bumper on Chris's jeep Saturday.
