| Post subject: | Where to buy a CB Antenna? |
So I've decided that my 4 foot white firestick is just too ugly for my jeep, so I want a 3 foot black one. The antenna itself costs somewhere between $10 and $20. From what I can tell, though, shipping it will cost me $17! Does anyone know of a good CB shop online that won't cost that much to ship to MA? There's a local electronics store that sells "Flame Stick" and some other brand for $12, but they are only trim-tune, and I'd really prefer the screw-tune. In a related question, does anybody in the northeast want a 4 foot white CB antenna? Or, alternatively, does anybody want to combine shipping with me on a new antenna? I just found an eBay seller who has 3 and 4 foot firesticks for cheap-cheap, and so long as shipping is reasonable, I'll buy one, but I can add another to the order and share shipping with anybody that wants one (and wants to pick it up from me in NE) From the eBay seller: Shipping for 1 3' would be $7.00 and a 4' would be $8.00 for 1 additional one it would be $1.00 more for either size. Insurance would be $1.40. Cost for a 3' is $11, cost for a 4' is $14 If anybody wants one, PM me soon soon soon! |

Check out Wilson antenna's. They have a great black one's in the Silver line of antennas. Do a dexoline search for Citizen band radio and see if there are other shops you just haven't found yet. |

Already checked there. Antenna costs $16, costs $12 to ship it to MA. No shipping or cost estimates with Bell CB, their internet ordering looks like it's from the dark ages of 1995. The antenna I ordered from the eBay seller should be arriving this week. $11 + $7 shipping is the best deal I've yet seen. |
