If you can get it used at a big discount from its original price, it might be worth it. The cost may not end at the price of the nav...the nav dvd must go in the head unit, so you will need to get an ipod adapter or the rear cd changer in order to listen to your music and use the nav at the same time. The screen is too small to display many street names on the map, so if you have to deviate from a route it becomes a problem. It does a few things ok, it isn't overly complicated to use and trial mode is useful. But after over a year, its easier to come up with a list of shortcomings. The only reason i've kept it is because i couldn't get much for it if i tried to sell it. |

I have one in my 06 and I love it. It was the newest one that was out at the time April 2006 Manufacture date. It does have some updates over previous models, such as displaying more street names, and NAV audio only coming from the drivers door. The latest NAV disc from MOPAR, surprisingly had more sub-divisions on it. You can pick them up on ebay for around $600 bucks give or take... I picked up a NEW 6disc Mopar 6 Disc rear CD Changer for 75 bucks shipped to my door... I think it is one of the best investments I have made on my Jeep (cept for my Renegade Light Bar) |
