I am running the wiring for my CB off the cig. lighter, but the cig. lighter is power on all the time even with key out. so if the power switch of the CB is off I will be fine correct? or does it draw a little power even when off? I dont want a dead batt. |

Why don't you run the power off the radio instead? |

That's where I've got mine with an add-a-circuit. No worries about leaving it on. |

I have mine wired with the cigarette lighter - I like being able to use the CB with the engine off. I just have to remember to turn the radio off when I leave the vehicle, but I haven't had a problem with it draining the battery when off (and I've left it for a week or so at a time) |
