This is a simple answer for someone out there I am sure. How do you get the upper dash off. I am able to get all the pins up, but it hangs up on both sides. I am guessing you have to pull the upper pillars off at this point. Just want to confirm before I start pulling more stuff out. Thanks. |

Yeah, you need to remove the A pillars. You'll need a 7mm nut driver to get to the nuts inside the handles. A typical socket is too fat to fit inside the hole. |

Mine were actually 20 Torx. They're hidden behind the plugs in the handles. |

I know there was a time they used the torx head, but did they start using different hex bolts too? I needed a 7/32 long socket, a 5.5mm should also work. Similar thread: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... p?t=18438&[/url] |
