fire in the fuse?

alright guys.. and gals... i have wired up some clearance lights and everytime i hook up my supply wire to the fuse in my fuse panel, located by the driver, i get a sprak and a small fire! what in the world am i doing wrong? i have tried both 20A and 10A and have bought about 10 of each for backups, but what in the world am i doing wrong? Thanks~

My vote's on shorting to ground somewhere in the installed line - get an ohm meter and try to track it
(or depending on how hidden it is you might be able to pull the wiring and trace it)
