I bought a set of 500's and for the life of me i cant figure out how to get them mounted on the front bumper without pulling the darn thing to get at the metal under it. I would like to know how others have mounted them up with the supplied hardware on the bumper. Thanks for all the help in advance. |

I made a simple light bar that goes across the front, then secured it with metal drywall anchors. Only the plastic supports it, but there is no wobble at speed or anything. It's a strudy setup...

here's what i did... just went to lowe's and bought some angle iron and used screws to screw the brackets in. no wobble at all, and if i wanted to take the whole thing off, you can barely tell there are holes there!
and yes, i need to touch-up the paint, but i will do that when it stops raining.. if that ever happens! |

Im also going to be working on a "stock" apearing center compartment mounting for a CB. That is once i can find one that will fit and still has a good quality signal for its size. So if anyone has some suggestions give um to me so i can get it all worked out. Also for anyone else that uses a Garmin Rino series GPS/Radio im fabing up a swivel mount for the dash. |
