It looks as though there are many power wires going to the battery without fuses. Especially of concern is what looks like the main charge wire, if that shorts, your KJ's interior will begin to melt bumper to bumper. The smoke will fill the cabin very quickly and blind you. I've been in two cars that have caught on fire on me during my career and it's very disconcerting. Bad-ass amp, but I see fire hazard in this pics. Remember that the amp needs to breathe, if you cover the sinks with plexi, they can't do their job. |

Bad-@$#% amp, but I see fire hazard in this pics. Remember that the amp needs to breathe, if you cover the sinks with plexi, they can't do their job. Actually there is only two wires going directly to the battery. One main charge wire, and one going to a fused distrubution box. All wires have at least one inline fuse. I do plan to drill vent holes into the plexi, and add a fan to each section. |

You might cosider installing some used computer fans for the venting and cooling inexpnsive but good insurance. If youir interested check out: http://www.actionpc.com/ This is a used or shall we say a reconditioned computer company in the Denver metro area of Colorado. Since it appears you have some electronic or computer expereince this place could just be the CANDY STORE of your dreams of coase not including any Libby TOY stores. Hope it helps, LEAD |

Why not both top and sides the more heat dissapated away from you electronics the happier they will be. Maybe aim the exhausting air towards the rear window, home made rear window defroster. If you really want to get trick their is a little bit of space between the rear door and tail light. A vent reminicent of the early '60 Mustrangs before the fender for brake cooling could give you ample source air to cool your onboard RADIOSHACK behind the back seat. All those toys do create a whee amount of heat. LEAD |

I wonder if one of those water cool system that you put in a computer would work. I do have one laying around, but i dont think the pump will survive that well in the jeep. But it would be a lot quieter than having several fans. |

Do you have any pictures of you monitor? Specifically, how you mounted it? |

look here http://www.inmyhappyplace.com/jeep/front.php. I have changed the interior a little since then (all the white is now silver), but the monitor is still mounted in the same place. |
