Just finished the install of the proclip for the iPod...total time, testing, losing not one but two of the tiny screws and having to find them 30 minutes !!!!! Seems very sturdy gives excellent view of the iPod.. I also got the 10% discount mentioned on the JeepKJ forum... 5 Stars !!! |

do you use a wireless transmitter, or is your ipod hooked up to the stock system? |

I have it hooked up via Periphal iPod Connector that connects to the stock radio |

The cool thing is this system comprises of two parts: vehicle-specific mount, and device-specific clip. I have a proclip too, but I use it to mount my Garmin iQue 3600 to it. Never fell off since. I used to use friction / suction mount but when the going gets rough enough, it always managed to fall down. Besides, the suction mount obstructs the view and can potentially end up in a citation. |

For the holder about $75 for both pieces http://www.proclipusa.com For the Peripheral Device, went to local stereo shop, I paid more than I should have, around $200 I think. http://www.peripheralelectronics.com |
