Aiming Hella 500 Driving Lights

I cannot seem the get my Hella 500 Driving lights aimed correctly.....When aiming, do I align at the same height at the beam from the headlights or lower or higher? I cannot seem to get them aimed.

With driving lights you want them to go out farther, so most recommend aiming the center of the beam about 1.5 inches below the center of the driving light at 25 feet. I usually just take mine out to a nice deserted road and adjust them until I like how they illuminate the road.
