Hey

I have a 2004 Liberty Sport and wanted to add a subwoofer to it...I saw that Mopar has one for the 05-07 and says its only for an 05-07, but has anybody had it work for a 2004? I looked at the install instructions, nothing too hard or that the 04 couldn't handle. Any suggestions?

You should check out jparts.com.....they have the same thing for $190. I have ordered from them at least twice and have had very good service and quick shipping. Also, they have the exact same subwoofer with the same part number and list it for 2002-2007. I would think that it would work with no problem. You might e-mail them to ask for sure.

The Mopar Sub for the liberty should fit all model years. There might be a bracket that you've got to bend to get everything in but the sub and wiring will directly fit all of the KJ's. I really enjoy mine too - not a lot of bass you can feel but it really adds some depth that you can hear.
