I've just activated my stock (OEM) headunit Sirius radio.
I can get all the stations and do not drive in a big city. I live in Michigan so there are no mountains here either. In other words my antena should acquire a perfect signal.

PROBLEM on hand:
Every 20- 40 sec. I get a sharp noisy sound on every station to the point where I can't crank the radio loud as it hurts my ears.
Every channel comes loud and clear except for this periodic sharp sound that last less than a second.
I talked to Sirius and they said everything looks good on their end. They have even resent their signal 3 times - no cure so far.

Sirius tech guy says I have to talk to a dealership.

Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!

Is it a sharp beep? If so do you have the seek alert on? or artist alert on?

I am new to the Liberty [2007 Sport 3.7] and to this site, so please bear with me.
I want to install a Drawtite hitch and 4 prong wiring harness. On the E-Trailer.com web site they have a T-One wiring harness with snap together plugs on the ends of the loom. Where do I locate the plugs on the vehicle? Thanks
Also, is the satelite antena just glued on to the roof or is it hard wired through the vehicle. It is in the middle of the roof at the rear and interferes with my carrying a kayak on top of the vehicle [no reception]. I would like to move it to the corner of the roof.
