Alright, here we go again.

So for awhile I had a 4 foot firestick mounted on the front left corner of my hood. Great reception, SWR < 1.2 or so. That thing bounced all over the place and I couldn't use less than a 4 foot antenna because of (what I believed to be) the roofline.

So I just installed a doorjam mount in the back left. I got a 3 foot firestick-II and mounted that to it (it sticks up above the roofline by quite a bit). The best I could get it to tune is a 1 on channel 1 and a 3 on channel 40. The 4 foot antenna tunes beautifully, as always. Any suggestions?
