| Post subject: | Left side parking lights front & rear don't work....fuse |
Alright, I'm elevating to the point where I think that I will just put in a 50amp fuse and let the insurance company deal with the ashes Seriously, can anyone tell me what their #7 fuse on the drivers side fusebox is rated? There was a 10A fuse in mine, but it keeps popping. I'm not sure if I have a short, or what the problem is, but I'll start with the fuse size and hope that when the dealer had to repair the wires from the clutch switch replacement that they didn't cause another problem with shoddy work. Thanks for any help. (And if anyone has any sort of schematic I would appreciate that.... for the drivers side parking bulbs-front and rear) and yes, the turn signal and brake light still work. -Mark [edit] it is a 10 amp fuse, the owners manual says so, but I noticed the front light coming on when I hit my breaks |

I do have a trailer harness. The fuse keeps popping without the trailer plugged in.... do you think that it's the trailer wiring that stays with the vehicle? I'll pull the wiring tomorrow morning to see if it works for me. I'm very hopeful that the tailer wiring harness is the problem... I think that it's a hodgkiss or whatever the popular brand is at TSC.... Thanks a million for the suggestion. (I hadn't even thought to "go there" ) -Mark |

Thanks guys, I unplugged the Hotchkiss (or something with a "H") Harness and have had lights all around. I would love to get my $$$ back for this one. Also, I noticed that when I hit my brakes the left turn signal would come on.... weird, or should I say "wired". Happy New year!!!!! -Mark |
