I have a 2005 Limited, and the stereo is pretty good - however, I would like a stereo that plays MP3's (either on CD or thru an auxiliary) _without_ losing the steering wheel controls. Are there any other Chrysler units that will drop-in while maintaining the steering wheel controls and adding MP3? Thanks in advance - OFG |

There are two ways you can go. 1) Find a stereo with "Wired Remote Input" on the back, using that you can buy PAC SWI-JACK, interface, tap to your steering wires, and program what you want them to do. Finished. Most kenwood stereos have wired remote input on the back, a few others also have them. 2) You can buy any stereo, which has infrared remote control and you can buy PAC SWI-X interface, tap to your steering wires, and it will have Infrared tranmitter. Something which you will need to align across from the stereo, so that it emulates the remote control and controls your stereo. Good Luck! |
