I finally found where I have been off in my search for a AM/FM/CB Power Antenna. I thought I had purchased one from Radio Shack. After searching Flea-Bay last night I found where my error was. At the time I installed the same antenna I'm searching for now I was employed by Cadillac Dealrership. Every month the GM Rep would stop by and go through the bin containing all parts replaced under warranty, some he took with him some he told us to dispose of them. I salvaged 3 power antennas each with a different defect and cobbled together one functional power antenna which after several hours and about 4 lb's of meat off my fore arms and knuckles the new antenna was installed into my 260Z. The reception was incredible and since I feel I need to install a CB Radio in my KJ this antenna with the relocation to the rear pillar and removing the ugly antenna off the front fender and useing the remaing hole for either running or turn signal LED lights will definitely tip the Cool Factor Meter. Now I just need to find an Antenna for a 1977 Cadilac Eldorado or mayby a Old's Toradado, either way it was an AC Delco factory part. I really like the idea of the antenna coming out just behind the roof rack on either side and when parked or needed lowered and totally consealed.
Anyones ideas or assistance in this quest would be greatly appreciated.
