Short answer is yes. The length also has a play in this but you are ok at least up to 25' with 10ga wire. Terry |

10ga yes but depends on your length and what you are running. If you are running 20ft at 25 amps constant then I would suggest 8ga minimum. |

http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm 10 gauge/25 feet/ 30 amps you will lose 1.54 volts to resistance. 8 gauge /25 feet/ 30 amps you lose .96 volts. Hope this helps. |
