Add a fuses are rated at 10a, I have something I'd like to use that requires 11a... Is it save to hook up the device using an add-a-fuse or no?

Bill- it might be ok but i would go directly to the battery. you run the risk of overheating the wire and that can start a new list of problems. and since it is for _______, you would get "cleaner" power going directly to the battery. its easy and only takes a min to go through the firewall. i went through where the harnes goes through. i am free saturday if you want help doing that.

That sounds good to me, but now I have to buy another gadget to make use of my add-a-fuse If there's anything you need me to bring I will, because I bought wire and connectors and other fun stuff.

Oh and, of course, we'll have to do some testing and maybe coax you into getting a _____ :0)
