Your help MUCH appreciated! I used a USASpec Aux Interface for mine. I do not have a zune, i have an ipod, but all it does is give you an aux. in, so it will work with anything. However, I dont think that it will work with the head unit that has the in-dash changer because it uses the input for the external changer to work. the other option is to use a WIRED Fm modulator. not wireless, cause i feel that those suck real bad. if you go the wired fm way, be sure to get one that is decent. i got one that was $20 for my fiance's car and its horrible. so, dont go cheap on it. you will have to splice this unit into power though, which is kind of a pain where as you dont have to splice power in on the USAspec unit. i would check crutchfield.com for these products. |

I'm using the 80 Gig zune with the stock system right now...Works great. I got the wire at bestbuy, and I jsut tuck it under the split in the dash. between where the shifet console, and the HVAC dash are.. If you know what i mean. Then I jsut set up the quick list with like 2 or 3 hours of songs, and hook the zune onto the "mysterious black elastic strap". |

qb, what year is your jeep? MNKK has a new KK (obviously by avatar), and the hook up is going to be way different depending if you have a KJ or a KK. MNKK, does yours have an AUX input stock? im sure it does, as most vehicles do now. |

So I am wondering what my options are for wiring something up into the rear part of the Head unit..... Thanks! |

Based on what I'm familiar with, I think you will have to go with a wired FM modulator. The USASpec thing that I have doesnt work with the in-dash changer, so that wont work for you. Just search Amazon.com for "wired fm modulator" and some options should come up. |

IDK about that, The FM Modulator thing. Have you ever seen how some of the Sirius radios work. It just broadcasts' through a dead channel. I would say go talk to one of the guys at a Stereo shop, or some electronics store, and see what they would tell you. But yeah, the KK has an aux jack in there stock. sorry, I should have read more into that. but all in all, the zune works great! lol. |

That is exactlt the unit I just installed. Read my posts in the Ipod section carefully. This unit is uper easy to install (1 simple plug), HOWEVER it WILL NOT do everything they advertise with that head unit. It will ONLY allow you to PLAY from your unit. All controls have to be done from the iPod, Zune, whatever. None of the head unit controls except volume will work. But if you just want to be able to play through your stereo and don't mind changing playlists or doing other stuff from the portable, it's a good, easy setup. On the other hand I tried 4 or 5 different of those wireless units from $30 to around $100 and not one of them was worth anything! |

Hey man, can you provide some pictures of how you have this all set up? It sounds like you have an Ipod, and since I have a Zune, I just need some more info before purchasing... thanks! |

Yeah that's cool, i got the disassembly, but what I guess I should've asked was did the instruction manual mention Zune compatibility at all? I don't believe the iPod and Zune share similar plug-ins... Thanks! |
